The Sarvajanik College of Physiotherapy offering BPT Degree of Four and a half years started with 20 seats from the year 2001 and has completed its 21st year with a total intake capacity of 47 seats at present. The result of final year exam of our last four consecutive batches is 100%. It’s a matter of pride for Students, Teaching Faculty and Non Teaching and the Management. The successful candidates are practicing and some are continuing their further studies in the country and abroad.
The Educational arena is further expanded from the year 2011 continuing till date, in form of ,The Master of Physiotherapy Program, which, is offered for a total duration of 2 years, with a total intake of 12 seats under 4 different specialties; Orthopedic Sciences, Neuro Sciences, Cardiopulmonary Sciences and Rehabilitation Sciences. I am Dr.Naveen Israel, a proud student of MPT in sports science(2018-2020) at sarvajanik college of physiotherapy(SCOP). I feel fortunate to be a part of SCOP, where I could grow immensely. The faculty would leave no stone unturned to shape one’s future. My two years at SCOP have been a wonderful experience of learning with prolific exposure. My confidence has been boosted after coming here.I feel immense respect, love, and gratitude for all the faculty members and Management. Their efforts transformed me into a better professional. My experience so far is one of pride that I have been able to be apart of this college. I have completed my BPT from SCOP with great Academic Achievements of being a 3 time Gold medalist and it gives me an immense pleasure to be called a SCOPIAN. ! In terms of academic learning, patient exposure and handling you will be trained from the best of the Teachers and Professionals in this field. The faculty is quiet understanding and very supportive.. Every professional lecturer is well experienced in their subjects and is a renowed researcher which is an added benefit. The Library is filled with exclusive and infact has the greatest collection of books available. Vast range of patient exposure in the parent hospital of the college IPD, NEURO AND OPDS as well as the Out postings and numerous case discussions weekly is something that makes SCOP stand out from other colleges. The college not only ensures the best of learning but indeed focuses on overall development of an individual preparing them mentally . I have learned a lot ! Everything taught here was a building block in my career as a Clinical Physiotherapist.
